Yet, realizing it with the public spirit of other towns’ municipalities, hotels, and esteemed sports clubs, our valuable marinas and institutions, and also hosting this great organization altogether is another pleasure.

The nature of peace is woman. Therefore, the slogan of our Turgutreis Bodrum Yacht Club, “ Women are hoisting sail to peace”, is an important reference to our urgent need of peace and solidarity environment

As being the Mayor of Turgutreis Municipality, I assure that we are going to host you here in the best way possible.

I wish you a successful competition and have a good time. Good wind and good luck…

Meltem ÖZER

The president of TBYC - Turgutreis Bodrum Yacht Club

Dear Friends, esteemed representatives of Sailing and Improvement,

Since last year, all of us have dealt with various tasks and works and became exhausted. Sometimes we have become happy sometimes sad and yielded ourselves to the wind of life and tried to do our best. Again and fearlessly…

As the strong women are supposed to be…Isn’t it the thing that made us come together…

While we were performing our tasks and responsibilities in the same way, we have tried to prepare for the 2nd International Women’s Sailing Cup as much as possible. Of course, with the support and trust of our sponsorships.

Now we are waiting impatiently for the days to be passed together and the competition, with full of excitement, friendship and fun.

This year, our main sponsorship is Turgutreis Municipality again as they promised us last year. We would like to thank our Mayor and esteemed council members for this decision.

Our hosting marina is D-Marin Turgutreis Marina. Again before the competition, they will embrace us with love, mobilize their own crew and will do their best to host us. With full of geniality as usual…

Other marinas are; Yalıkavak Port Bodrum Marina and Bodrum Municipality Marina.

Last year, how well Yalıkavak Port Bodrum Marina hosted us and how much fun we had. I can hear, you are asking that “was there a day on which we didn’t have fun”? I’m even curious about their surprises for this year. I’m sure that they will continue to surprise and pamper us by their friendships.

One of our towns’ municipalities, Yalıkavak Municipality is again supporting us this year with delicacy as usual. We will be able to witness archaic wealth of Bodrum with the help of Bodrum Municipality. They are going to grant our two- nights boat accommodation this year.

There are other surprise programs for you….Get ready for them…

As you can see on the front page of our web blog, our hotels, clubs, institutions, and the press didn’t hesitate to take part in and support such kind of an activity. I hereby would like to thank them sincerely.

Such kind of an organization is not easy to prepare at all. Under these general economic conditions, achieving this can just be the fruit of such a cooperation and solidarity. And it is the honor of us altogether.

Therefore, I would like to thank sincerely to all the establishments that supported us and to our main sponsorship especially.

And also I would like to thank you wholeheartedly who have come here and enabled us to realize such kind of an organization…

We were successful last year and we achieved it through this union of energy and help. This year, WE fact, SOLIDARITY and PEACE elements are the sources of our success.

I think that nothing can cope with the magic of these facts.

And the winner is going to be PEACE, LOVE AND SOLIDARITY thanks to you…

Welcome again, the courageous and beautiful women of sailing and the sea. . . the delegates of friendship…

With love and everlasting friendship,

Meltem ÖZER
